one day with baliblogger hello, my name is stella. i am the baliblogger. lots of people ask me what i am doing here in bali it's hard to imagine what a person who doesn't go to an office actually does all day long ;) plus that myth that everyone in bali is just sitting under the palm drinking coconut juice all day long
bali blog, so i've decided to show you one day from my life and since i am a surfer my day usually starts with surfing 5:30 and my alarm is already ringing i am not an early bird so i usually press snooze button couple of times ;)
but at some point i have to force myself to wake up. good morning, world! ;) btw when i became a downshifter i had this illusion that i don't need to wake up early anymore to go to office! and i am free to wake up anytime! but when i started surfing i realised i have to wake up even earlier than that ;) like today i had to wake up before sunrise time to go to the surfing spot! to get to the beach i have to drive 5 min this nice road
lets check waves from the cliff waves look awesome, time to surf! the best thing in surfing when you surf with friends two hours later... i had a nice surfing sessionso it's time to chill at the beach for a while after surfing i usually head home to get some work done don't be surprised. i do work sometimes ;) i actually work a lot. but my work is my hobby. so i don't mind ;) people often ask me if it's hard to force yourself to work in bali.
i think if your work is something you truly love it's not a problem ;) sometimes i have even longer working hours than i had in the office. but i love what i do. my to do list for today first i have to finish a new article for my bali blog besides that i am preparing the launch of english version of baliblogger i can work on my blogs all day long,making short breaks for tea and sweets ;) while i was working the rain started! but i don't mind raining if i am working at home i almost finished working in my blogs: just few things left
going to kuta. i live 20-30 minutes away from kuta.if there is no traffic. in kuta i have a meeting with a personwhom i am coaching on how to create blogs few hours laters... my meeting is over and i am heading to jimbaran for sunset jogging at sunset actually ;) many people don't like running.but it turned out to me that running is the best mediation. running clears up your mind and fills it in with new ideas! plus sunsets in jimbaran are amazing!
time to go home just to take a shower and change i have a dinner with friends tonight guys are already waiting for me 23:00 time to go to sleep! i am back home again and super sleepysince i woke up at 5:30 my cat is already waiting for me at home ;) my day is almost finished!the last thing to do is to check surf forecast for tomorrow. it might seem like all days in bali are the same.
when i was working on this video i realised every day is a unique one. and it wasn't easy to choose what to tell in this video. my days are different because i am working for myselfand i am flexible to choose what and where and when to do my main profession is a blogger. everything on my blogs i do by myself, including technical part and writing. i have several blogs, but the main one is about bali. my blogs aren't just a work for me, they are my passion. and i actually spend most of my day doing something related to my blogs. but the good part is that i don't have a schedule and just follow my inspiration so this is one day from my bali life
